Urban Works Mission Statement
The mission of Urban Works is to educate youth in the community on how to expose their better self; mentally, physically and spiritually to instill healthy values. While developing their work ethic in hands-on job training.

ABOUT US
Urban Works Youth Training Program is an outreach ministry that operates under a Nonprofit Charity 501c status. We are a program educating youth in the community to utilize time wisely and build healthy spiritual values.
We are proud to present our (AOK) Act Of Kindness program. We are located in Columbia MD and work with the youth in Howard County and the Pa Tri-state area of , Williamsport , Lancaster , York and Harrisburg, PA.
Here at Urban Works Youth Training Program, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, since our beginnings in 2013; we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded for our Non-Profit Organization.
Our primary focus is to increase the number of academic achievements in pre-teen students; to facilitate a higher success in GPA ratings upon reaching high school; and creating a wide range of options in choosing colleges and trades across the state.
Our youth program provides youth with the structure, guidance, support, hands-on training, educational resources, job readiness, communication skills as well as trade programs to help them develop these skills and become productive citizens in society.
WHAT WE DO
We are a program that targets youth in the community who lack direction in fundamentals of becoming a positive and productive member of society, aging from 9-17 years old.
Parents partnered with their child or an adult trainer may participate in our hands on fundraiser program while sharing the message of Christ. Ages for this Program range from 10-12 years old.
Other Programs that we offer youth are: Urban at Risk Mentoring Program, Financial Literacy Class, Urban Works Scholarship Educational Program, Urban Works Afterschool Hangout Haven, Urban Intro to Technical Skills & lastly, Urban Works Job Readiness Program.
